CHD Import is aimed at the commercialization of tropical fruit and vegetable products and African food products, through its own sale on the market Mercabarna, as well as distribution to customers in Catalonia and other communities of Spain, as well as countries of the European Union.
Since its beginnings the company philosophy has been to reunite values such as vocation, service, quality and professionalism. These values helped us earn the recognition from our senders, suppliers, customers and competition throughout all these years.

The general line of fruit and vegetable supply is comes from different senders and from different areas of production in Africa (Mali, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Ghana and Nigeria) and also from EU countries, Asia, Latin and North America and Oceania.

Commercialization covers several product lines which include Fruits, Vegetables, Tropical, Exotic and Ethnic, Citrus, Aromatic Herbs, Flours, Semolina, Couscous, Starch, Palm Oil, African sauces, peanut butter, tomato concentrate, broths, species, preservation, Milk, Beverages, Snacks, Spices, Condiments, Beans, frozen fish, frozen vegetables, etc.

The wide range of products and varieties offered as well as its extended period of availability, results in maximum coverage of demand of retail customers, retailers, municipal markets, greengrocers, modern retailers and restaurants. The sales area of influence covers the Spanish market, spreading to Portugal, France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy and the UK. In addition, customers of other wholesale markets are also covered.

Given the Malian roots of the founder of the company, the source of most CHD Import products come from this country, more specifically from the capital Bamako. Thanks to the work and the collaboration of farmers and associations it has been possible to create a wide range of products, under company’s own name, giving like that a guarantee of quality and origin.

The company originally started from mango importation by air and boat. During this campaign the company makes efforts to combine parallel importation and distribution of ethnic products to meet the needs of all customers loyal to her from the first year. We have large areas of cereal cultivation in the area of Kay, the mango tree plantations spread across southern Mali in the region of Sikasso and several stores in the capital for the processing, packaging and selection of all products.
